The organization states:<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"caret-color: #000000; color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">\u201cThe authorities have stigmatized, harassed, and repressed the media, often closing critical outlets.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"429\" data-end=\"745\">This repression is not isolated. According to <strong data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"494\">Espacio P\u00fablico<\/strong>, a Venezuelan free-speech organization, there were <strong data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"602\">507 violations of the right to freedom of expression<\/strong> between January and August 2025. These included <strong data-start=\"651\" data-end=\"742\">168 cases of intimidation, 101 cases of censorship, and 65 cases of judicial harassment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"868\">The situation intensified around the electoral period in July, when most violations were recorded.
